Using a condom helps protect against HIV and lowers the risk of getting many other STIs.
If you’re a man having sex with men (MSM), without condoms and with someone new, you should possess an STI and HIV examine every 3 months, otherwise, it should be at least once a year. This can be done at a sexual health clinic (SHC) or genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic. This is key, as some STIs do not cause any symptoms.
Hepatitis A
Hepatitis A is a liver infection that's spread by a virus in poo.
Hepatitis A is uncommon in the UK but you can earn it through sex, including oral-anal sex ("rimming") and giving oral sex after anal sex. MSM with multiple partners are particularly at risk. You can also get it through contaminated sustenance and drink.
Symptoms of hepatitis A can appear up to 8 weeks after sex and include tiredness and feeling sick (nausea).

Bi Men Are Not Considered Attractive, New Study Says
After three incredible dates with a straight-identified woman, she ghosted me. I felt blindsided. Everything had been going well… or so I thought. She seemed genuinely interested in me and our last meet ended with an hour-long make-out session!
When I asked our mutual friend, who introduced us, what happened, she told me bluntly, “Yeah, she was freaked out by the truth that you were bi.” Apparently, she was also too cowardly to inform me herself (or to at least make up a reason why she didn’t want to converse to me again).
I was shocked. On our multiple dates, she didn’t come across uncomfortable when I openly discussed my bisexuality. She even spoke about her time sexually exploring at Wellesley College, when she hooked up with other women.
In the weeks tracking the date, I mind to myself: if a woman who studied gay theory at one of the most progressive colleges in the United States couldn’t date me because of my bisexuality, then who the hell would ever date me?
Sadly, the woman I briefly dated is not alone in her beliefs.
What Gay and Bi Men Really Want
Are physical and sexual attraction the most appealing qualities in a partner? Or are unseen qualities like good manners and reliability the most attractive?
Following on from his investigate into what unbent women want and what straight men want, D&M Research’s managing director Derek Jones has taken the next coherent step with his latest study into what gay and bi(sexual) men want.
In order to delve deeper and pull out a correct list of turn-ons and turn-offs for gay and bi men, Derek once again used of the Im-Ex Polygraph method. He originally devised this procedure of analysis to distinguish what people say they want from brands, products or services from what they really want by comparing stated versus derived measures of importance.
Qualities the gay and bi men said they desired in a partner (‘stated’) were compared to the qualities present in example celebrities they nominated as attractive (‘implied’). The matching comparison was made between stated and implied negative qualities, to determine what attributes are really the biggest turn-offs.
Previous research has established that people can tell, more often than not, whether a man is lgbtq+ or straight from his voice alone. This ability to identify gay men from their voice has been dubbed “gaydar”—that is, a kind of radar for detecting gayness.

The reason why the voices of gay men tend to be distinct from those of straight men has been widely debated. Since we know that sexual orientation is due to the way that the brain was formed during prenatal development, it may be the case that these brain differences also lead to vocal patterns and behavioral mannerisms that are typically gay.
Other psychologists, though, contend that the “gay voice” comes from social learning. As men interact with the lgbtq+ community, they pick up ways of speaking and acting that signal membership in the group. After all, we all grasp to adjust the way we talk and act according to the standards of the various groups we belong to.
Whether the gay voice is due to nature or nurture, it’s also the case that gay men no longer have to obscure their identity. This is because society has becom
